Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be:
- In its original condition (unused, unplanted, with original tags)
- In the original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, certain items cannot be returned:
- Perishable goods (plants) that show signs of damage from improper care after delivery
- Custom or special order items
- Items marked as „final sale“
Please inspect your plants immediately upon arrival. If there are issues with the condition upon delivery, contact us within 48 hours.

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions
Within 1-2 business days, our team will email you:
- Return authorization number
- Shipping instructions (address and carrier information)
- Any special packaging requirements
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your item(s) securely, including all original packaging materials. Affix the return label (if provided) or clearly mark the package with your return authorization number.
Important: We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Garten Sinn is not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged in transit.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days of arrival at our facility), we will process your refund or exchange.
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-7 business days to process
- PayPal: 3-5 business days to process
Shipping Costs
The original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).
Exchanges
For exchanges:

Damaged or Incorrect Items

International Returns
For international customers (outside Germany):
- You are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees
- Mark the package as „Returned Goods“ to avoid additional customs charges
- Original shipping fees cannot be refunded for international orders
